ONLINE CBA & SLA GROUP COACHING PROGRAM FOR IENs

You've Studied Alone Long Enough. Prepare for the NCAS CBA & SLA Live With a 19-Year Canadian RN

6 weeks. Live on Zoom. Saturdays 10am–12pm PT. Small cohort. Real-time feedback. $797 CAD. Includes the full CBA/SLA Prep Course ($397 value).

Most IENs prepare for the Inspire CBA and SLA the same way: Googling, watching YouTube videos, and hoping it's enough. But these assessments don't test nursing knowledge, they test how you think, communicate, and make decisions within the Canadian healthcare system. Without someone to correct your reasoning in real time, you can prepare for months and still walk in underprepared.

You can only take the CBA and SLA once. Your results help determine if you need a few weeks of bridging courses or to go back to school (12-24 months and up to $31,300 for international students). This 6-week group coaching program gives you live guidance and real-time feedback from a Canadian RN with 19 years of experience. You’ll learn how to think, prioritize, and perform like a Canadian nurse before your assessment day.

"I’m so happy and grateful I have you, Irah. I’m finally done with my SLA and I feel like I did great. Everything we went over during our coaching session helped. I felt so confident after I finished the first case scenario during the SLA until I finished all 5 scenarios. Thank you so much for all your guidance and patience. I truly appreciate everything you’ve done for me, I owe you a lot."

Why Live Coaching Changes Everything

✓ Coaching that adapts to your gaps, not a fixed curriculum
Every cohort is different. Sessions are shaped by where your group needs the most work, so your time is spent on what you actually need.

✓ Real-time correction when you make mistakes
Practice a case scenario, get immediate feedback on what you missed, why it matters, and how to improve.

✓ Expert insight into what assessors actually evaluate
Learn the subtle differences between "competent" and "needs improvement" in real-time.

✓ Accountability to stay on track
Weekly sessions keep you focused and progressing. Self-study often means "I'll get to it later"—until your assessment is 2 weeks away and you're unprepared.

✓ Learning from others' questions
When another IEN asks a question you didn't think to ask, you both learn. This peer learning accelerates preparation in ways solo study never can.

After coaching hundreds of IENs, I've seen the pattern: Those who prepare with structured guidance perform significantly better than those who study alone—even when using the same materials.

What you get when you enroll

✓ Access to CBA & SLA Prep Course

Instant access to the full self-paced course ($397 value): 500+ CBA practice questions, 10 SLA scenario lecture videos, Canadian nursing frameworks (SBAR, documentation, clinical judgment), and all study materials. Get access until you complete your assessments or for 6 months, whichever comes first.

✓ 6 Live Weekly Coaching Sessions

Practice case scenarios with real-time feedback, ask questions, and learn test-taking strategies in a group limited to a few IENs. Get personalized attention you'd never receive in a large class or a self-paced course. All sessions recorded so you can review anytime.

✓ Weekly Assignments to Maximize Your Progress

Between live sessions, complete assigned readings, practice questions, and course modules that prepare you for the next week's coaching. This structure keeps you accountable, reinforces learning, and ensures every live session builds on solid preparation—no wasted time.

✓ Expert Coaching from a 19-Year Nursing Veteran

Work directly with Irah Kwok, a Canadian nurse educator with over 19 years of clinical and teaching experience who's helped hundreds of IENs prepare for their assessments. Private coaching clients pay up to $1,600 for this level of expertise—you get it for $797 in this group format.

✓ Downloadable templates and tools

Canadian documentation templates, nursing assessment cheatsheets, flowsheets, Triple Track Assessment flowchart, and curated textbook chapters—everything you need to walk into your assessment prepared.

✓ Private IEN Community

Stay connected with your cohort between sessions. Ask questions, share experiences, and get encouragement from fellow IENs who understand exactly what you're going through. You're not preparing alone.

About Your Instructor

Hi, I'm Irah, a Canadian RN with over 19 years of experience across emergency forensic nursing, public health, rehabilitation, long-term care, and nursing education. I've worked with organizations including Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health and previously taught nursing with a focus on clinical judgment, leadership, and professional practice.

Through my work with internationally educated nurses, I saw that the challenge wasn't nursing knowledge. It was learning how to think, prioritize, communicate, and make decisions like a Canadian nurse. I also saw how many IENs were ending up in longer, more costly re-entry programs when the shorter bridging pathway was within reach with the right preparation.

That's why I created Nursing Collective: to give IENs quality education that is affordable and accessible, so more nurses can walk into their assessments prepared and give themselves the best chance at the shorter path to licensure in Canada.
