You Worked Hard to Become a Nurse. Now Let’s Make Sure Canada Sees That.

The Inspire Global Assessments (NCAS) CBA and SLA don’t just test your nursing knowledge — they evaluate whether you can think, communicate, and make decisions like a Canadian nurse would. That gap is exactly what Nursing Collective was built to close.

Hi, I’m Irah

I’m a Canadian Registered Nurse and Educator with 19+ years of experience in the Canadian healthcare system, and a coach and mentor dedicated to helping IENs achieve licensure in Canada.

My background:

  • Sub-acute, emergency- forensic nurse examiner (SANE), clinical site lead in public health, rehabilitation, long term care, leadership & education

  • Former Nursing Instructor specializing in leadership, clinical judgment, and professional practice

  • Worked with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), Fraser Health, and private sectors

  • Certified Restorative Yoga Teacher — integrating mindfulness & stress-management for nurses

  • Mindfulness workshop facilitator for nurses

What that means for you: I don’t just know nursing. I know exactly what is expected in Canadian nursing — because I’ve been one of them.

I created Nursing Collective after seeing the same gap over and over again. Working alongside IENs and teaching them as a Nursing Instructor, I saw firsthand that the knowledge was never the problem — what was missing was focused guidance, dedicated resources, and a support system built specifically for the Canadian licensing journey. So I built it.

Nursing Collective's mission is simple: quality education that is affordable and accessible, so every IEN has a real chance at the shorter path to licensure in Canada. You worked hard to become a nurse. You deserve preparation that works.
