Hello and Welcome!
I’m Irah — a Canadian RN, former Nursing Instructor for Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs), private mentor, and certified restorative yoga teacher.
I’m so happy you’re here and part of this nursing community.
I created this platform to support Internationally Educated Nurses like you—dedicated professionals navigating the transition into the Canadian healthcare system. Whether you're preparing for the Inspire Global Assessment (CBA + SLA), studying for the NCLEX, or building confidence for job interviews, my goal is to help you move forward with clarity, strategy, and support.
My Journey
For over 17 years, I’ve worked in many corners of healthcare — from public health as a Clinical Site Leader, to forensic nursing providing trauma-informed care, to teaching leadership and management to IENs in a classroom setting.
Along the way, I’ve mentored nurses at every stage of their journey — helping them build both their competence and confidence.
But the truth is, I know how overwhelming this transition can feel. You’re balancing career dreams, cultural adjustment, family responsibilities, and licensing exams — all while trying to prove you belong in a system that may not yet recognize your full value.
That’s why I created this space.
Because I’ve been the mentor who helps nurses feel seen.
And I want that for you, too.
About the Course
Through years of experience as a nursing instructor, coach, and mentor, I saw a consistent need: a comprehensive, practical course tailored specifically for IENs preparing for their Canadian licensing journey.
So I built it.
My self-paced online course is designed to help you:
Understand what to expect from the CBA and SLA
Strengthen your critical thinking, clinical judgment and documentation
Review Canadian nursing scope of practice, communication, and delegation
Clinical judgment and decision-making based on Canadian nursing frameworks
Test-taking strategies aligned with CBA and SLA
Communication, delegation, and documentation using Canadian standards like SBAR and FDAR
Realistic practice scenarios and nursing assessments you’ll need to master for simulation and clinical roles
Insights into Canadian workplace expectations, patient-centered care, and cultural communication
This isn’t just exam prep — it’s the roadmap I wish every IEN had from day one.
It’s structured, supportive, and built to help you succeed in both your assessments and your career.
My Mission
My greatest passion is helping IENs step into their full potential — not just as nurses, but as leaders, advocates, and healers in Canadian healthcare.
I’ve felt the uncertainty, the self-doubt, and the stress. That’s why I’ve poured my heart and experience into building something that actually works — something that supports your whole journey, not just one exam.
Because you’re not just trying to pass.
You’re trying to belong. And you do.
The one who understands.
The one who has a solution.
The one you can trust.

“I really appreciate your guidance and detailed information on IEN application and all the necessary steps. I am so glad that I watched your youtube videos and contacted you for further discussion. Your suggestion on making a resume and cover letter to apply for jobs was very informative and helpful, guiding me to make plans to achieve my goals and directing me to what to do next and how to do it. Thank you for your motivation and encouragement. I hope all the IENs can get a chance to learn and get awesome knowledge from you.”
Thank you again,
Stuti P.

“Irah is a wonderful tutor who adjusts to your learning needs and style. With Irah, I was not only able to better understand class material but also build my skills in confidence in test-taking and studying. I would truly recommended anyone in need of a tutor to seek out Irah's support. :)”

“I find your insights and teachings to be very helpful and clear for learners. I also like your level of dedication and patience when teaching. When you hint answers but wait until the student tells you what they think instead of just giving the answers right away, it’s also really good”.

“I’m going to make sure that if I need anything in the future to prepare for preceptorship or exams I’ll reach out! Really love how safe and good I feel whenever we connect for a teaching lesson” :)

“Irah was absolutely wonderful to learn from. While helping me study for my CPNRE, she also assisted me with tips to cope with my anxiety. She would take time out of her own schedule to prepare lessons and practice questions for me, and always made sure to check in to see how my overall well-being was. She was able to recognize whenever I was feeling nervous about something and would pause and take a moment to talk about it. Between the studying and the breathing exercises we did together, I was able to use everything she has taught me while writing my exam. Thank you so much, Irah!”

“Your research and notes were eye opening but I’m not sure you’ll be providing other students with that, but for me that really strengthened my studies. Overall I think your nursing experience speaks for itself and your way of unfolding case scenarios or whatever other needs the student might have is super helpful. Also always good to have an understanding of what happens in the real world as opposed to school studies :) “.
